Würth IT Welcomes 12 New Young Talents at Welcome Day in Waldzimmern

On July 29, 2026 — before the official start of the training programme—Würth IT welcomed twelve new Young Talents and their families to a Welcome Day in Waldzimmern. The Welcome Day serves as a shared introduction, helping the newcomers become familiar with the company, their colleagues and everyday training life at an early stage.
The young talents will begin their careers across two vocational training programmes and five dual study programmes:
- IT Specialist in Application Development
- IT Specialist in System Integration
- Dual Study Programme in Business Informatics
- Dual Study Programme in Applied Computer Science
- Dual Study Programme in Cyber Security
- Dual Study Programme in Business Administration – International Business
- Dual Study Programme in Business Administration – Freight Forwarding, Transport and Logistics
The new colleagues were welcomed by the Young Talents team and Managing Director Marion Betz, who accompanied the day together with the trainers from the various locations.
“The Welcome Day marks the beginning of a shared journey. We are delighted to welcome so many talented young people to Würth IT and look forward to seeing what we will achieve together,” says Marion Betz, Managing Director of Würth IT.
A Varied Program to Kick Things Off
After the Young Talents Team’s welcome, Managing Director Marion Betz introduced the IT company with a corporate presentation and an interactive quiz. This sparked the trainees’ curiosity about the years of training ahead.
Afterward, the Employee Representative Council and the Young Talent Representation welcomed the new Young Talents. The Young Talent Representation presented joint activities, existing partnerships, and social projects — offering a first glimpse into community life at Würth IT. The apprenticeship programs and degree programs themselves were presented by current Young Talents, who were able to share their personal experiences.
Louis Huber led the tour of the Waldzimmern headquarters and the data center, providing an initial orientation to their future workplace. The highlight of the day was a panel discussion: Managing Director Marion Betz spoke with trainers Gerd Mark and Thomas Kübler about training, corporate culture, and career prospects at Würth IT. The Welcome Day concluded with a group barbecue.
